About Our Process

NeighborScape sales representatives visit your property at no cost to assess the space, understand your goals, and discuss design ideas in person. This allows our team to provide tailored recommendations, preliminary budget pricing, and a clear plan based on your property’s unique conditions and vision.
We provide a detailed electronic outline of your recommended landscaping or construction project, including design concepts, scope of work, materials, pricing, and contract. This package offers a clear, professional overview so you can review, share, and move forward with confidence. You’ll also find information about our team and additional services we offer.
After reviewing your goals, design ideas, and budget, we prepare a fixed quote outlining the full project cost before work begins. We believe in transparency and do not add surprise fees. Your contract includes a milestone-based payment schedule along with accepted payment methods and details.

Every project requires preparation before construction begins. During this phase, we maintain regular communication to keep everything on track. This may include finalizing design details, selecting materials and finishes, securing permits, and coordinating with landscape designers or architects when required.

You will receive a tentative start date approximately 4–6 weeks prior to commencement. Dates may shift due to weather, material availability, workforce scheduling, or previous project delays. A more refined start date will be provided within two weeks of construction.

A pre-construction meeting will be scheduled to review final details, project logistics, site access, safety considerations, and any last-minute adjustments. This helps ensure everything is aligned before construction begins.

Once work is underway, our crews are assigned specifically to your project and scheduled to work consecutively until completion. We maintain a clean, organized job site and treat your property with professionalism and respect at all times. Throughout construction, we remain available to guide you through the process and address any questions that arise.

What about changes during construction?
We understand that adjustments may arise, which is why we work closely with you to incorporate approved change orders. Once a revision is confirmed, our skilled trades teams implement it seamlessly within the existing scope. We keep you informed throughout, including any impact on schedule or final cost.

As completion approaches, we conduct a walkthrough to ensure all work meets expectations. Any outstanding items due to material delays or special circumstances will be added to a punch list and addressed promptly. Once finalized and approved, it’s time to enjoy your new space.

We work hard to make sure you’re happy with your space, and only use products we would trust on our own properties. We proudly stand behind our craftsmanship with a 3-year warranty, and many of the products we install also carry lifetime warranties against structural and visual degradation. Our administrative team is available for any maintenance or warranty questions.
